Concept
This is an event in collaboration with the “2006 Happy Aperitif in Aoyama Kotto Dori” hosted on Saturday, June 3rd by the French food promotion committee, Sopexa Japon.
Aperitif is a predule of a meal where we enjoy both alcoholic beverages, like wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, like mineral water, with scrumptious amuse-bouche. In France, these relaxing moments are essential for enjoying a quality lifestyle.
At Theory, we want to encourage the idea of taking time to sit back and relax in our busy daily lives. Saturday, June 3rd will be the highlight of this event that will be held for the entire three weeks.
Production
On Saturday, June 3rd, we will set up an Aperitif corner on the 1st floor of the Aoyama Main Store. There, sommeliers from Sopexa will serve wine and hors d’oeuvres to our customers. We will also turn the B1 Gathering Space into a Prize Drawing area. Customers will win a prize presented by the participating stores by collecting stamps from two of the stores that are participating in the Stamp Rally on Kotto Dori. In addition, presents related to the Aperitif will be prepared for all of our customers who visit the store during the event through Sunday, June 25.
As of Saturday, May 27, a week prior to the event opening, our windows will be decorated to express the Aperitif idea.
* Happy Aperitif in Kotto Dori participating stores (in alphabetical order): agnes b, Blumarine, Christofle, DRAWER, IRIE, J. M. Weston, Just Campagne, KENZO, narciso rodriguez, SEMPRE, Theory
* The B1 Gathering Space at the Theory Aoyama Main Store was created when the Main Store reopened after renovation last October. It is an open space with the dual functions of gallery space to display the works of artists that Theory appreciates, and a rest lounge to allow store visitors to relax. Our Gathering Space will continue to host a variety of events periodically.

* The event “2006 Happy Aperitif” itself will be held from Thursday, June 1, through Saturday, June 3. On the first day, a grand event will be held in the Arena at Roppongi Hills, and over the next two days, a variety of events will be held in many places throughout Japan, including Aoyama Kotto Dori.
