THEORY CELEBRATES 10 YEARS OF INNOVATING THE CONTEMPORARY MARKETPLACE
Theory recently opened its flagship store in the historic Meatpacking district in New York City. This cobble stoned area once used to be filled with meatpackers, but is now filled with artists and fashionistas where high-end boutiques are intermixed with members only hotels. The Global Headquarters that nests both the flagship store and the corporate office will transmit Theory's image globally.
THEORY10~ BACK TO THE ROOTS
After ten years where we stand now, we will go back to our roots and will plan various projects that express Theory's 10 years of history and passion to have a great start of the following ten years.
MEATPACKING DISTRICT
NY based photographer Michael Dweck who has held his exhibition once at Theory Aoyama Main Store shot the Meatpacking District extensively. He fell in love with the district and moved in 8 years ago. He will express the exciting "now" selected from the stocked work since he's moved to the Meatpacking, filtered by Theory's aesthetics.
At Theory stores in Japan, we will promote shopping bags collaged with his artwork for the entire year.
