"PLAY IN THEORY" Theory participates into Design Tide in Tokyo 2007 “Tide Extension”

Theory participates, for the first time, into Design Tide in Tokyo 2007 “Tide Extension”
Design Tide is an event which bestows new opportunities on budding designers and companies. The 3rd annually held-event is operated based on the theme “What is really indispensable”, and participants feature their own display mainly in interior, furniture, graphic, fashion and art field. Many creators and companies collaborate with each other at “Tide Extension” which is held at the main National Stadium in addition to shops, gallaries and café in Aoyama, Harajuku, Shibuya and Roppongi area. Theme of this year is “Play”.
Theory supports the event and will hold joint display at Aoyama flagship and Omotesando Hills store with 3 groups of artist in the theme “PLAY IN THEORY”, combining the theme “PLAY” and our consistent phrase “IN THEORY”
About the artist

They earned high reputation at the exhibition “100％ design London” one of the largest ones in UK held this September. They illustrate nature in their design with the theme “Rehabilitation”, which triggers the memory of nature.
CounterCraftz http://www.countercraftz.com
Started their activities in 2002, consists of 2 artists from Kyoto Municipal University of Art. Good at creating original frames in various form, texture, color, size and decoration as if they play with puzzles and blocks.
FLANEUR design
Supported by Future TV, collaborated with Kasahara Corporation,
IF Enterprise Co., Ltd., and Ant
Designer Mr. Atsushi Tezuka, born in 1969, freelance creator specialized in visual production and graphic design. For this event, they will display organic design presentation and VJ featuring Theory.
